FABRICATION AND APPLICATION OF THE SELF-ASSEMBLED γ-Fe2O3@AU NANOCOMPOSITES WITH LOW FLUORESCENCE BACKGROUND
The gold-coated magnetic nanocomposites (MNPs) have attracted great interest due to their various properties, such as easy magnetic separation, good biocompatibility, and optical properties and so oa The gold-coated MNPs with low fluorescence background can be employed to be carriers to develop a highthroughput bioassay of fluorescence detection based on bead array. In present work, we synthesized a kind of gold-coated magnetic nanocomposites γ-Fe2O3 @ Au (GMNPs) with low fluorescence background via self-assembled process. Moreover, the GMNPs modified by streptavidin (SAGMNPs) can combine with biotinylated fluorescent oligonucleotide through the reaction between biotin and streptavidin (SA), which will possess great potential application in molecular analysis with fluorescence.
