FABRICATION OF NANO-ELECTRODE ON THE SURFACE OF THE SOLID-STATE NANOPORE
Solid-state nanopore has been expected to be a promising sensor to detect biological macromolecules. More importantly, the nano-electrodes embedded in the solid-state nanopores have been confirmed to monitor the transverse tunneling current when the DNA translocated through the nanopores. In this paper, we reported a new method to fabricate the nano-electrode on the surface of the solid-state nanopore. Simultaneous detection of the block current and transverse tunneling current for single-base resolution of DNA detection can be realized in the future.
