NOISE ANALYSIS OF SOLID-STATE NANOPORE WITH DIFFERENT SALT SOLUTIONS
The ability to sense single molecules with a nanopore depends on the electrical noise of the device when recording the transmembrance ionic current Salt solution is a major source of electrical noise during detection. In this paper, we record and analyze the noise characteristics of solid-state nanopore with different salt solutions, including KC1, CaCl2, NaCl, MgCU and KC1 with glycerol, all in concentration of 1 mM The results show differences of ionic current as well as the current power spectrum densities among these different salt solutions. We attribute these effects to the particle size, namely the diameter of ions.
