PREPARATION OF DNA-FUNCTIONALIZED Pd NANOPARTICLES
Herein, Pd nanoparticles (NPs) with the average size of 10 ran were firstly obtained by using sodium citrate as the stabilizing ligand and ethanol as reducing agent In order to link DNA to Pd NPs surface through amide bond linkage or S-Pd bond, the different surface modifications (protected by TA (thioctic acid), MUDA (11-mercaptoundecanoic acid), HS-PEG (MW 2 000)) through the ligand exchange reaction were then done. And during the subsequent attachment of DNA, it was found that only Pd NPs modified with HS-PEG and HS-DNA simultaneously performed the good stability in the different buffer solution, which is very different from the protocol used in traditional Au NPs or QD surface modification. And this work set the good foundation for the application of Pd-DNA conjugate in further immunoassay and nucleic acid hybridization.
