SURFACE MODIFICATION OF SILICON NITRIDE NANOPORE WITH CTAB
Modification methods to change and realize different surface electrical properties of nanopore have been a hot point in nanopore research fields. This paper introduces a novel modification method to change surface property of silicon nitride nanopore with cationic surfactant (CTAB). We mainly analyze the volt-ampere and electrical noise characteristics that are tuned by different concentrations of CTAB on nanopore (50nm in diameter). The results indicate that CTAB dramatically increases the conductivity of nanopore, while different concentrations of CTAB (ranged from 0. 01% to 0. 05%, mass density) have opposing effects towards noise scale.
