PROTEOMICS ANALYSIS OF SERUM PROTEIN PROFILING IN CERVIAL CANCER PATIENTS BY DIGE
A proteomic study of serum protein expression in cervical cancer and non-cancer patients, including cervical intraepithelial neoplasia (CIN) and cervicite, was performed with two-dimensional difference gel electrophoresis (2D-DIGE) and MALDITOF-TOF analysis. Some differentially expressed proteins were detected according to the image analysis, and these proteins of interest were identified by tandem mass spectrometry. A literature review was performed for all identified proteins, and these proteins may be involved into the cancer metastasis through different signal pathways.
