RECOMBINATION CYTOGLOBIN ANTI-OXIDATION AND ITS BIOLOGICAL EFFECTS

Molecular Medicine Engineering Research Center of the Ministry of Education, Huaqiao University,Quanzhou 362021, China A preliminary research study on anti-oxidan of recombination cytoglobin (rCygb) and its biolobical effects by H2O2 oxidative stress model of mouse embryonic fibroblast (MEF), skin aging model caused by continuous subcutaneous injection D-gal in mouses and skin burn model in rats. The results showed that rCygb could improve activities of total superoxide dismutase (T-SOD) and glutathione peroxidase (GSHPx), reduce activity of lactate dehydrogenase (LDH) and reduce level ofmalondialdehyde (MDA). Skin biopsy showed rCygb could promote angiogenesis, increase expression of collagen and anti-inflammatory. The results of this study showed that rCygb could improve the oxygen free radical scavenging ability, delay aging and promote wound healing.
