Study on antiviral activity of photocatalytic TiO2 (Ⅲ)

One of our recent research interests regarding photocatalysis is about anti-viral effects. In the last meeting of SIEMME17 in Beijing, we showed the obvious anti-viral activity of TiO2 photocatalytic thin film under UVA irradiation against influenza A virus, by using the test method, which we proposed as the virus version of the ISO protocol (ISO 27447:2009) for evaluating anti-bacterial activity of photocatalysis (Fig. 1).
