Bio-control efficacy of some plant extracts against pulse beetle Callosobruchus chinensis
We loose about 35% of the annual crop due to the feeding by insect larvae and adults which accounted to be billions of rupees every year. The insects damage that much amount of food which could have fed millions of people for a year. Thus insects are in neck to neck competition with man. Hence for survival of man to control the agricultural and food grain pest by using safer methods has become important.
