Bio-management of nematode induced wilt disease complex of Gerbera using PGPRs in open field conditions
Gerbera is a commercially important cut flower crop, generally grown in protected conditions for the quality flowers which demands very high investments. Attempts were made to cultivate certain cultivars of gerbera in open field conditions by various researchers in India. A few farmers in India are cultivating this crop in open fields. As it is a long standing crop it provides congenial conditions for the rapid multiplication and buildup of pathogenic fungi and nematodes. Sustainable
