Research on Precise Support for Armored Equipment
The current support of the armored equipment is traditional extensive mode. There are many problems, such as excessive maintenance, late maintenance and high ratio of expenses to battle effectiveness. Aiming at these problems, the significance of Precise Support research on armored equipment is analyzed. Precise Support is the certain trend for equipment support under it-based conditions, which means to succeed in gaining possession of maximal efficiency with minimum cost and high effectiveness with low risk. That commander, a senior logistician, must have the authority commensurate with the responsibility and must also have a joint theater logistics organization manned by highly trained logisticians armed with sophisticated logistics C2and information systems and available to meet the combat forces needs.
