Part Reliability Design of Centrifugal Nozzle under Thermal Stress-Dependent Strength Using Polynomial Method
A polynomial method is developed to generate the stress-strength interference model with thermal stressdependent strength. Accuracy of this method is investigated by an aeroengine fuel centrifugal nozzle. The computed reliability ranges from 0.9845 to 0.9942 under several thermal stress modes. Then steel alloys are chosen for various parts based on their prices and material properties. With this approach conditional thermal stressdependent strength reliability of centrifugal nozzle can be established conveniently.
