Cooperative R&D Game Model of Supply Chain Firms
Cooperative R&D has become a norm interactive relationship between two or more members in a manufacturing supply chain. Using a three-stage approach, this paper analyzed the strategy and the profit level of duopoly R&D cooperation and noncooperative R&D based on a game model with one core enterprise and one upstream supplier. The result indicates that increasing investment will increase the total profits in the market. The profit of each supply of duopoly R&D cooperation is obviously higher than that of non-cooperative R&D. Our analysis of this game model reveals that cooperation in R&D increases expenditures in R&D, with respect to the non-cooperative solution.
