The Reliability of KUH Full-scale Airframe Static Test

In this paper, the test reliability of full-scale airframe static test (FAST) is investigated. It depends on test design, loading accuracy, calibration, test procedures, test engineers proficiency and measurement uncertainties. Especially, measurement uncertainty is a statistical parameter which can present the possible fluctuations of the measured test data. For structural static test, measurement uncertainty technique about load, strain and displacement is developed. ADD(Agency for Defense Development) has KOLAS(Korea Laboratory Accreditation Scheme) certification in accordance with ISO/IEC 17025 for mechanical test, aeronautics and astronautics, static tests for full scale airframe. KUH FAST according to developed test techniques and processes meets the reliability.
