Dyanmic Data Scheduling Algorithm Based-on Priority in On-Demand Mobile Computing Environments
On-demand broadcasting is an effective wireless data dissemination technique to enhance system scalability and capability to response rapidly and handle dynamic user access patterns. With the rapid development of mobile applications, there is an increasing need for systems to support efficiently processing of requests for multiple data items in mobile computing environments. In this paper, we concentrate on data scheduling algorithm for both single-item and multi-item requests in pull method. Firstly, we construct architecture of on-demand system which is mainly consisted of request scheduler and data scheduler compared with traditional models. Secondly, we formulate the priority model of requests, which consider data items access frequencies, variable length, request productivity, urgency factor and the relative weight. The performance evaluation shows that the priority model is very flexible and effective in light situation.
