Application of Hyper-Fuzzy Logic Decisions for a Security Monitoring System

This paper presents the preliminary results for applying fuzzy logic and hyper-fuzzy decisions for a security monitoring system. We show comparison between the two logics. The proposed approach showed significant performance improvements with hyper-fuzzy logic. A smoother decision surface results when considering input uncertainties and environmental uncertainties.
