Study on Strategy of speed sensorless direct torque control for induction machine
In high performance induction motor (IM) drive systems frontier, direct torque control (DTC) algorithm gains wide applications. But the introduction of encoder being used to measure rotor speed will deteriorate system reliability. So research on speed sensorless DTC control becomes a hotspot. A new method of speed observation is presented in this paper. By revealing the relation between rotor slip and rotor flux, a practical speed observer is developed. Based on MATLAB /Simulink a speed sensorless DTC motor control system is constructed using suggested speed observer. The feasibility and effectiveness of the speed sensorless algorithm was supported by the simulation.
