Rotational Angle detection based on Projection and Upsampling
Since the diversity of shapes among surface mounting components in precision electronic assembly, it has become more difficult for locating inspection of surface mounting components. In this paper, we have proposed a novel method for angle detection based on projections. Firstly, a strong connection between the rotation angle and the support length will be constructed. Then, the proposed method for angle detection based on projections will be given in detail. Next, the accuracy of the proposed method will be analyzed. To improve the accuracy of the angle detection, the zero-padding interpolation method is successfully applied. Experiments results show that the present method is effective, accurate and efficient for angle detection.
