Iterative Learning Controller with MPC Learning Strategy Design for CFB Combustion System
Operation of a circulating fluidized bed unit (CFB) varies with load command, which introduces high nonlinearity and uncertainties into combustion control system. Usual industrial controllers, e.g. PID controllers, are not able to achieve good performance. An iterative learning controller (ILC) combined with model predictive controller (MPC) based on error transfer model is designed in this paper, intend to improve following ability of ILC controller and promote ability of dealing with uncertainties, such as model mismatch, time varying interference and etc, simulation studies show effectiveness of the controller.
