Design of a Kind of Broadband Orthogonal Mode Converter

摘要：

Orthogonal mode converter is the main electrical components of the dual-polarized antenna feed system. This paper designed a kind of waveguide orthogonal mode converter, which is used for tightening field test antenna.With a four-steps E-T structure, the converter achieves power equal portions and 180 ° phase shift in the working frequency. The simulation results show that in the working frequency range, it achieves input VSWR of less than 1.1, the amplitude unbalance of less than 0.05dB and the phase unbalance of 180 ±1-This device is used in the balance feeding system of dual-polarized antenna, can perform well.
