The Computer Aided Design of Stone Slab Paving

The aims of this paper is to study a computer aided design method of stone slab paving which is based on the AutoCADs secondary development tools of ObjectARX in the development environment of VC++2005.NET. The ObjectARX development technology and the realization principle of the stone slab paving system are introduced in the paper. Paving dialog is designed with VC++ to realize stone parametric paving, and the engineering slabs can be numbered automatically with the use of extended data. Moreover the design and connection of various menus are completed in the paper. The function of stone slab paving system is shown by giving an example, and the paving result is analyzed and summed up in the end. The paving of complex zones can be finished automatically by computer software instead of manual work. It has improved the design process of stone decoration.
