Sensor placement strategy in bearing-only passive location system
The paper studies the relationship of the location error and distribution of two sensors. Through mathematical calculation, an expression of the optimal distribution of two sensors and a figure depicted the optimal maneuver direction under different distance are given. The simulation results show that the approach obviously improves the precision and stabilization of the system of two sensors passive bearing-only cross location.
