Research of Backlash Nonlinearity on Three-axis Inertial Stabilized Platform

Backlash nonlinearity exists widely in Three-axis Inertial Stabilized Platform with large torque, which has great influence on the dynamic and static properties of the platform. So a Three-axis Inertial Stabilized Platform control system with backlash was discussed. The structure and parameters of regulator of system were designed. Then the mathematic model of Three-axis Inertial Stabilized Platform control system was established by Simulink. The dynamic characters of the system were analyzed. The backlash nonlinear of drive system was lead in. The stability of system influenced by gear backlash were analyzed. It will positively guide the design of the mechanical drive and control systems.
