An Improved MAC Protocol in Mobile Vehicular Ad-hoc Networks
At present, the research vehicle from the network is still in the initial stage, which is mainly in some of the key agreements and simulation theory. MAC protocol is one of the key issues. In this paper, combined with Frequency Division Multiple Access theory on the classic FAMA-NCS protocol, we transform control packets and data packets in different frequency groups, respectively, for transmission of data packets using 17 frequency groups, the control group using two frequency groups. This improvement can effectively reduce the conflicts between the different hosts of the CTS packets, and it can also reduce the problem of false host. This paper also present the proto-VANET based on improved FAMA-NAC protocol and AODV protocol to verify the reliability of improvement.
