The Option Pricing Theorys Application In the Real Estate Trade

The paper analyses the characteristic of down payment in the real estate trade from the angle of option, makes use of option theory to explain the inherent meaning of earnest contract and uses option pricing theory to calculate the theoretical value and real price of earnest contract The primary content contains three aspects. First, use option theory to define the option concept of earnest contract in the real estate trade. Next, introduce the model of confirming value of earnest contract, and explain the simplified terms of using the Black —Scholes model to estimate earnest as well as each variables confirmation. Finally, calculate and analyze the value of real estate earnest contract
