Road to Digital Cities: Case Studies and Practical Choice for China

摘要：

Many countries and regions have carried out plans for the construction of digital cities. In China, many cities are also trying to put this kind of plan into practice. Main cases of digital city projects in the world including city guides in America, Digital City Kyoto, Digital City Hong Kong and others have been studied in this paper. With the comparing work among the different patterns, the current situation of digital cities has been analyzed. Further more, the paper also provides with advices on strategy of the construction of digital cities in China.
