Analysis on Establishing Han Embroidery Course in Art Academies in Hubei Province
Han embroidery, as a folk handicraft rich in unique geographical features, has great artistic, spiritual as well as cultural value. This article gives an analysis of the significance of establishing Han embroidery course in art academies in Hubei province and investigates the teaching methods used in the instruction of Han embroidery. It is also the responsibility as well as obligation of art schools in Hubei to promote the heritage and development of Han embroidery and to show its unique artistic charm and recur to its resplendence. In this way, students of all majors in fine arts can be nurtured by the essence of folk art which leads to the teaching effect of enriching their own creative thinking
