Building a System of Creative Design Education with Characteristics in Colleges by Geographical Cultural Resources
Since the running of design education in the local colleges and universities shows more similarities yet fewer differences, this paper offers the idea of putting up the target for training creative talent and setting up the platform of practice teaching for the design education, exploring effective ways of establishing the education system in accordance with cultural resources and local features, innovating in education management in local schools, and providing practice research bases for the system. The study of building a system of creative design education with regional cultural characteristics will be helpful to teach college students to explore geographical culture, condense local spirit, and develop their qualities of self-reliance, hard work, determination, ambition and initiative, and to foster their ability of innovation and improve their overall quality.
