Research and Application for Modeling Technique of 3D Animation Character Based on 3ds Max

As a product of digital technology, threedimensional animation is playing an increasingly important role in many fields, such as film and television, game, advertising, architecture,and so on. The research on modeling technique is the basic and important content for 3D animation. The work presented in this paper focuses on exploring a scientific, rational, effective and unified approach to create a variety of three-dimensional animation character models. The paper brought up the modeling technique theory for animation character. Before beginning to buliding models, we hould design and analyze the animation character first, and then determine a feasible modeling thought and method, finaly, we can make the models by using different ways based on different character features. The result of the study is verified by two experiments to be a feasible and high-efficient path for animation character modeling.
