Comparison of Fish Pattern Decoration on the Diet Utensil in Tang & Song Dynasty
As the delicacy, the fish attaches the vital position in people’s diet, which directly promotes the prevail of the diet painting culture in Tang and Song Dynasty, in this text, to begin with, elaborate the overall style and feature of the pattern in the diet utensil in the Tang and Song Dynasty, in line with the development of the fish pattern decoration in the diet utensil as well as its cultural progress in the Tang and Song Dynasty, analyze the form evolution of the fish pattern decoration. The discussion is conducted from three aspects in the form of the style, application method and composition of the fish shape decoration in the diet utensil in the Tang and Song Dynasty in order to discuss the colorful form of expression and thoughts of the fish-shaped decoration in the Tang and Song Dynasty.
