Discussions on Planning and Execution of Thematic Paintings in VIP Room of High Speed Rail
With Beijing-Shanghai high speed rail launched into operation, high speed rail will gradually be a part of daily life of common Chinese people with increasing political and economic impact being felt. As an important part of high speed rail, high speed railway station identifies “building a perfect project with 100 years of prestige as the core philosophy. As works of art playing a unique role and assuming a unique mission as a necessary component in architecture, this thesis shall focus on the planning process of thematic painting in the VIP Room of high speed rail and the difficulties, providing an analysis and discussion of the status of plan execution in combination with case studies, summarizing existing problems and researching for possible solutions. It is expected that constant research and innovation shall promote the progress in painting alongside with the development of high speed rail in China, thus satisfying people’s needs of materials and spiritual refinement.
