Design of Cartoon Related Products for children
Nowadays in China, there are nearly 290 million children, whose childhoods were mostly accompanied by cartoons and animations, so the children are the main consumer of carton related products. Since children’s physical and psychological development is in a special period, it is important that we can design appropriate carton related products which children like. This article describes the current status of the cartoon derivative products in China. Chinese original cartoon ‘Pleasant Goat and Grey Wolf’ was taken as an example to analyze the design of childrens animation related products. Besides the article also pointed out that childrens cartoon related products should be designed under the consideration of children’s preference, their age and the usage safety by selecting non-toxic child-friendly materials.
