A Research on Art and Culture Elements of High-speed Train’s Shape Design
This article is based on shape characteristics of high speed trains, combined with peoples expectations for overall performance, analyses the major art factors in train design: emphasis on pose, facial expressions, focusing on the integrity of design. The article also proposed the head type features which would meet Chinese aesthetics characteristic: reflecting China modeling view, stable, implicit, balanced, and having harmonious temperament, reflecting innovation temperament of Chinese nation, that is based on the analysis and comparison of high speed train appearance design, regional culture differences and the head type outlines features of Foundation. According to technology performance and function requirements, this article proposes a cultural orientation and concept design of Chinas new generation of high speed trains.
