ChaoScreen: Take “The Butterfly Effect as Digital Art Tool
In this paper we introduce ChaoScreen, an interactive art tool based on chaos. It enables using any daily item to create digital art work. The key element of the system is a video loop, where a camera is pointed directly into its own display. Some periphery devices and a library of algorithms are provided to augment the video loop. Interaction with the system is joyful. Usages and art works are multifarious. Also the system achieves controllability to some degrees.
