Study on Designs of Bracket in Song Dynasty

摘要：

Bracket in Song Dynasty is the typical representative of development in Chinese traditional structural element. Elements of bracket keep a relatively independent relationship, single element and whole elements’ structural space combinations, with the development and influence from craft, culture, and aesthetic appreciation in Song Dynasty, based on continuing and summarizing bracket development in former dynasties, form features of space structure design which are peculiar to bracket in Song Dynasty, and show design spirit and design concept of Chinese traditional ancient building.
