The Standard Font Design of Chinese Character Based on the Image Scale Method
Along with computers widespread over China, the software of writing edition and typesetting becomes popularization day-by-day, and the standard typefaces of Chinese standard character font (several dozens sorts) are not extremely symmetric compare with the west alphabetic character font (over 3000 sorts) in quantity. Further more, the difference of pattern rule between the square-shape Chinese character and the west alphabetic writing also made it widely divergent in the font design principle. By the processing of image analysis, the method of Image scales has provided a feasible way from the angle of psychological cognition for the Chinese standard font design, and gives a possibility to an effective operation.
