Web Habit and Expectation of Chinese Young People
This research consists of the main contents with comparison and analysis about web habit and web expectation of different groups of Chinese young generation, along with the development of mobile internet, to discover the future trend of web function or web service. The amount of Chinese net citizen is up to 253 million now, and the largest part of the number was covered by Chinese younger generation. Web has become an essential part of Chinese net citizen’s life especially the Chinese young people. In order to predict the future development trend of Chinese internet network, the research should start with understanding the Chinese young people. To understand the Chinese young people’s web habit, lifestyle and future needs of web functions, this research used two methods to investigate. First is questionnaire. It is used to collect the statistics of the web habit and favorite web function or web service. 210 Chinese young people involved in this survey, including 140 college students and 70 white collars (aged 23-35). And second is interview. It is used to discover the invisible reasons why they like these web functions or web services and different life styles between the two different groups. This subject investigated 230 Chinese young people, include 78 white collars and 152 college students. 20 Chinese young people involved in this survey, including 12 college students and 8 white collars (aged 23-35). To predict the trend of web function and web ervice which Chinese young people expected, the web development of itself was also need to be analyzed. The developing potential of mobile internet was analyzed in this research. Combined with survey of Chinese young people, the development trend of web functions and web services was explored.
