The three-dimensional representation of traditional geometric modeling arts in modern garment design
Recently, the geometric modeling clothes which are full of formal aesthetic perception make themselves strike out from the fashion stages, and more and more designers begin to pay their attention to the applied value of traditional geometric modeling arts in garment design. The key points of the study are how to combine the traditional modeling arts with the modern fashion design and create a new way of expression. Based on analysis of the historical origin and most relevant characteristics of the geometric modeling, this paper analyses the three-dimensional representation of the geometry elements within the hall, pattern and texture of the clothes and explores the article and commercial values after their perfect combination.
