A study of numerical simulation for aeration sand filling-squeezing molding process
Aeration sand filling-squeezing is a newly and popular molding process. Because of its unique advantages, such as low air pressure, less energy consumption, better mold quality and less pattern wear, aeration sand filling has been successfully applied in both flaskless and flask tight molding machines. In order to optimize the method and mold quality, it is necessary to study modern computer simulation technique for such molding process. In this paper, a numerical simulation program for aeration sand filling-squeezing molding has been developed.
