The exploration and practice of vacuum sealed casting process in aluminium alloys casting
As the vacuum sealed casting process (V process) has been widely used in China, more and more enterprises have comprehended and adopted it. However, the development of the V process is restricted by the problems found in the production, such as the influences of the manufacturing environment and the efficiency caused by spraying coating, and the continuous working of the vacuum system. In the present study, the theories of the no-coating V process were put forward and the variation of the EVA plastic film was analyzed under the pouring condition of aluminium alloys; the experiments of V process without coating which based on the above theories were conducted to analyze the conditions of the excellent casting; at the same time, in order to reduce the working time of vacuum equipment, the compound technology of V process and green sand casting was attempted.
