Investment casting process of high-Cr wear-resistant cast iron materials used for shot blasting machine

摘要：

This paper presents the investment casting process of high chromium wear resistant cast iron materials used for shot blasting machine, and the predominance and shortcoming of investment casting for the cast iron materials are analyzed. The results show that using investment casting technology can improve internal and external quality of the high-Cr iron castings, change the solidification order, and M7C3 carbide grows along the direction of perpendicular wear surface. The life of blades produced using this method is 7 times more than that of conventional methods.
