Application research on patternless casting technology for automobile parts
Digital precision forming technology without pattern, based on the cutting theory, is a new rapid manufacturing technology for single and small batch of complex metal part. It is driven by CAD model, and with this technology the sand block is cut directly to obtain the automobile shell mould and then to form metal parts after pouring. The part could be manufactured with short-cycle, low-cost and flexibility. This technology can provide a new, quick and convenient way for automotive part development.
