Phase Array Antenna Pattern Design Using the Minimax Algorithm

This paper investigates the performance of beam pattern forming employing the Minimax algorithm. The examples used in this paper demonstrate how phase-only adjustment is performed on both circular and elliptical beams. Compared with complex weights adjustment, problem of phase only adjustment is addressed and performance analysis is provided. A 244 element non-uniformly spaced array antenna is used in this simulation study.
