Monopulse Estimation of Swerling I-II Extended Targets

Maximum likelihood estimators for the centroid and the extension of Swerling I-II extended targets are given which are based only on the outputs of the generalized monopulse ratio. The statistical performance of these quantities is characterized by mean and variance.
