Study on Underwater Acoustic Simulation Measurement of Radar HRRP for Ship Targets
The measurement of the high resolution range profile (HRRP) of ship targets is an important and complex problem. It is urgently settled in radar detection and target recognition research field. In this paper, the method of the underwater acoustic field simulation instead of the electromagnetic field to measure targets’ HRRP had been researched. The comparability between target acoustic scattering and electromagnetic scattering is studied and the theoretical analysis is proposed for underwater acoustic measurement experiments. The results of the experiments show that the method of underwater acoustic simulation to measure water surface targets’ HRRP is valid.
