An Approach for Sparse Baselines SAR Tomography
This paper deals with the synthetic aperture radar tomography (Tomo-SAR), which is a potential technique for three-dimensional SAR imaging by synthesizing the SAR images of the same area to an aperture in the vertical direction. However, the conventional Fourier-based methods are limited capable for the sparse baselines cases. In this paper, the Tomo-SAR with sparse baselines is formulated as a sparse signal recovery problem. Then, by solving it, the superresolution imaging in elevation direction is obtained. The feasibility of the proposed approach is validated by results obtained from simulations with sparse baselines.
