Brief Talk aout Life-cycle Management
Life-cycle management (LCM) has been used in the construction projects to reduce whole life cost, time and risk for many years in our country. However, due to the lack of effective information sharing platform for owners, consultants, designers, contractors, etc.,, the current LCM construction projects in the construction industry has not effectively applied. Therefore, the software DASSAULT which was widely used in the product life cycle management (PLM) can be used to build the platform. This paper describes a new information sharing platform using DASSAULT software via analyzing the information flow of LCM of construction projects. Through the application of the DASSAULT software established the initial framework for effective communication of all parties involved in construction projects.
