CHARACTERISTICS OF SPHERICAL SHELL FORMING AND ANALYSIS OF PARAMETERS SIMULATION

A lord stress method is used to analyze theoretically the stress in drawing-bulging process and the influence of forming limit on the forming condition of of spherical shell parts. The effect of process parameters on the forming limit height, such as the blank holder force, friction coefficient, die radius and deep drawing speed, is analyzed by using orthogonal experiment and numerical simulate methods. The results show that the blank holder force, die radius and deep drawing speed have significant effect on drawing process, which contribution rate are BHF 42.47%, 32.09% of friction coefficient, 31.22% of die radius, and 22.21% of deep drawing speed.
