MODIFIED SEQUENTIAL LINEAR POWER FLOW METHOD FOR HIGH-SPEED RAILWAY POWER SUPPLY SYSTEM
Characterization of High-speed Railway power supply system requires a power or power flow algorithm as a basic tool to determine bus voltages, line currents or power flows through feeder lines. The execution of the algorithm needs efficient search. Sequential Linear Power Flow Method is a efficient tool to solve power flow for AC Railway system. This paper describes a modified Sequential Linear Power Flow Method that uses the initial current distribution of each AT to instead of the initial value of voltage in SLPFM. The computing results of a 8-trains case indicate the algorithm can speed up convergence and reduce the number of iterations, thus that can saved computing time. Therefore, the method is more conducive to real-time flow calculation of the railway traction power supply system.
