THE EFFECT OF DROPLET GRAVITY ON THE SUPERHYDROPHOBIC SURFACE
The paper started from the most basic physical law Yang-Laplace equation, combined with the invariably characteristics of the droplet volume and surface tension in the Wetting process, established the Novel Gravity Model (NGM).By numerical simulated, we gained the surface morphology of different size on the materials of various properties.The result of Novel Gravity Model was consistent with the experimental data better than the Ideal Spherical Model(lSM).It indicated that the different of the internal hydrostatic pressure of droplet huge affected the droplet morphology, which induced by the gravity of droplet.In conclusion, the droplet gravity changed the equilibrium contact angle for the same material yet.Next step, it will help us analyze the penetrability of micro-droplet in the thin film.It will develop the microfluidic chip technology in a new field.
